SG Extends OpenSports to FanDuel in Two New States
Scientific Games continues to expand on its partnership with Flutter Entertainment’s leading sports betting brand in the United States, FanDuel Group, through a new technological partnership for Illinois and Indiana.
Moving forward, FanDuel will benefit from the OpenSports platform, making for a total of four states in which the companies work together leveraging this tech, including Colorado and West Virginia. Flutter and Scientific Games have been collaborating for the past 20 years.
Six more states are expected to join the partnership with OpenSports empowering FanDuel’s portfolio in each. Outside of the United States, Scientific Games provides the same solution for Flutter Entertainment’s brands in Europe and Australia with Betfair, Sky Bet and Paddy Power for the former and Sportsbet for the latter.

The platform handled a total of 50 million bets with 115,000 bets per minute in the United Kingdom on the occasion of the Grand National making it one of the most dependable solutions in the sector.

FanDuel remains tied with DraftKings as the leading provider of mobile sports betting solutions in the United States.
